So you will know what to expect when you set up an appointment with us, we generally follow these steps:
Step 1: Discovery
During our initial meeting we will have a conversation about your current circumstances. We will look at your stage of life, your income and expenses, the assets you have built up and your plans for your money. We will gather together all the strands of your finances so that you have a complete picture of your current position. We will address any specific needs, objectives or problems you may have at this point.
During this initial meeting we will see if you wish to proceed on a fees basis or the traditional commission model.
Step 2: Analysis
We will then look at your financial gaps and goals and show you how to improve your position.
If you have existing contracts in place we will see if they can be cleaned up so that you get better value for your money. Where we identify areas where financial contracts can help you to achieve your objectives we will identify which types of contract are going to best help you.
Step 3: Presentation
We will present our recommendations to you formally in writing, and where possible at a face to face meeting. If you agree with our recommendations we will then move to the implementation phase.
Step 4: Implementation
Once we have received your agreement to proceed with our recommendation we will:
• Prepare all of the necessary paperwork for you.
• Once signed we will send off the relevant application forms.
• Follow through each application to completion; and
• Advise you once everything is in place.
Step 5: Monitoring
We are available by phone, email or in person at our office at any time you want to review your policy with us. Particularly if you arrange a fund-based investment or pension plan, it is important that you check up on it regularly to make sure that your investment strategy remains on track.
We are readily available for advice and assistance at any time and as each of our clients is assigned an individual advisor, a personal service is always guaranteed.
